High School Counselor
As a high school counselor, you put the needs of your students first - and at Allied American University, we do too! We strive to provide a positive, supportive and encouraging online setting where students can learn, thrive and reach their full academic potential. Fostering their growth and achievement is our top priority and we value each and every success.
Allied American University allows high school seniors to take select undergraduate level courses (100-200 level) as non-degree seeking students if they satisfy the following reqirements:
- Miniumum GPA of at least 3.0
- Letter of recommendation from the ANHS Dean of Instruction, Director, or high school counselor if attending a high school other than ANHS
- Letter of consent signed by the student's parent if the student is under 18 years of age
- An official copy of the student's high school transcripts
All of our courses are eight-weeks in length, with weekly start dates - meaning that students can learn at their own pace, with an established framework that encourages results. They have continued access to all of the resources that they need - including helpful academic progress advisors, innovative technologies and relevant teaching techniques. Faculty members have real-world experience and bring advanced credentials and valuable insight to the online classroom.
