Our goal at AAU is to provide the attention you need during every aspect of your education. This means providing the student resources you need to achieve success. Here are just a few of the resources available to you. To learn more, simply call (888) 384-0849. We have a full staff of people at the ready!
One of the unique resonators of AAU is that we provide uniquely personalized, one-on-one attention to each of our students. To achieve this, students are assigned to Program Success Advocates (PSA). PSAs are the personal point of contact for students, and very much an important contributor to student retention.
Program Success Advocates lend assistance to students in a variety of ways. A few of the ways they do this include:
Since you’re learning online, you are bound to have a question or two about a password, accessibility or technical requirements. We understand! Even though you study online, you have a full team available to assist you. Simply call (888) 384-0849 and we’ll assist you with any technical support services.
The Career Center at AAU provides students with invaluable support and career-specific resources for the purpose of guiding students into employment post-university. More specifically, AAU offers a comprehensive job assistance program, which comprises resume and cover letter assistance, employment resources and advice on interviewing, negotiating salary and tips on how best for students to network and market themselves. At the end of the day, AAU aims to provide as much assistance as the students need, but we also emphasize the importance of self-sufficiency so that students may know, without uncertainty, that they get the job they desire most.
AAU is committed to the success of its students! The Academic Resource Center ("ARC") was designed to help our students achieve their academic and career goals. The ARC offers a variety of online resources to help students succeed, including: video tutorials, links to appropriate APA formatting, and Department Seminars. The Department Seminars function as virtual office hours where tutoring assistance and one-on-one and/or group instruction from a Professor are available to all AAU students. An Allied student can request assistance in any subject matter that is not currently being offered in a Department Seminar. A list of Department Seminar times can be found in iBoard, or contact your Program Success Advocate for more information.
