Program Objectives
This program prepares you for positions in business, industry and non-profit organizations. The program allows you to individually tailor your program to combine a substantial core set of general education courses with an emphasis on courses in career-related areas. You may design an undergraduate program that can more readily meet their career and personal-development goals. You will acquire the critical skills needed to integrate and complement your individual interests, abilities, and intellectual and practical concerns. You will be prepared to pursue graduate studies.

- Differentiate the roles and tasks of leaders and professionals in a variety of disciplines and fields

Bachelor's Degree in General Studies Program Description
The purpose of the Bachelor's of Arts Degree in General Studies is to prepare students for entry-level positions in business, industry and non-profit organizations. This general studies program allows students to individually tailor their program to combine a substantial core set of general education courses with an emphasis on courses in specialized areas of study. Students may design an undergraduate program that can more readily meet their educational and personal-development goals. Students will learn concepts and skills from a broad base of specialized-related areas to create solutions to contemporary problems. Students will acquire the critical skills needed to integrate and complement their individual interests, abilities, and intellectual and practical concerns. Allied American University (AAU) also offers an Associate of Arts Degree in General Studies.

The Bachelor's of Arts Degree in General Studies without a concentration includes 120 credits with 51 semester credits from general education and 69 semester credits from electives.
